Hi all,
So a patch of black ice resulted in a few spins across the hwy and a tree taking out my left hand side view mirror- thankfully no other damage!
Yes this was months ago
So- it looks like there is a small baring washer that was bent out of shape and prevents the mirror from just clicking back into place. Nothing was broken, it looks like it should just fit right back on… except for this rather delicate part.
Do I seek out a new washer via toyodiy or some other source? I’ve yet to find out how to isolate just this specific part and I’m not really stoked on buying a whole new pricey mirror head when mines in otherwise great shape.
Do I simply bend the washer back into place?
Anyone have experience with this before?
Thanks all!
