I saw this photo on the internet (I assume the photo is in the Middle East somewhere) and was wondering what I’m looking at with this mirror. Has Toyota gone “fancy”?

Those mirrors have a built-in indicator light. They are an option in select markets, and they have been around for a while.

There are aftermarket examples available for sale as well.
