This has been on craigslist before, he also has/had a 45 RHD, he may have sold that one.

Ahhhh come on! you know you want a 40. I tell ya what I'll do for ya, I'll drive you down there in the VW, so it wont take alot of fuel, and then being the good friend I am, I'll drive youre 40 back for you and I'll let you drive the plush VW back.

Now that you mention it Greg I thought that it looked a little familiar. Looks like it might be a pretty good deal.
Saw this truck on westbound I40 yesterday afternoon being trailored near the I95 interchange. Guess someone scooped it up and was taking it home...wonder if it was anyone local.
Looked like a super clean truck with little to no rust.

Cruisers Returns
Yeah, my brother-in-law was driving it in Wilmington for the last 9 months maybe one or two days a week. He said that he was trying to sell it but I think he was enjoying a free ride to drive.
Had a guy call me on friday and wanted to look it over, so, I pulled it back to Raleigh. He is also looking at a FJ60. I sold the FJ45 to a guy from Kentucky- drove it all the way home.
I will have my 80' BJ40 for sale once I get back from my mother. Her vehicle was totalled and I gave her one to drive.
I am down sizing my quiver of vehicles because I will be taking a sabbatical the end of 09. If anybody has any questions or would like to see one, just call me 919-616-1312. The FJ40 is in Durham near airport side and 98, BJ40 is in Beaufort, NC.
