I just ordered some rear replacement quarter Panels from Robin Wilkinson of Wolf Steel in Canada. Gave a 10% discount for TLCA and Forum members 1-2 week delivery time. Will have a local body shop install them. Will post review and final product for those that are curious. The exchange rate gives you another 27% so not a bad deal.

So the panels have arrive will show pictures tomorrow.

Which one of you local ladies would be interested in helping a new guy cut out and weld or glue on some new quarter panels? Would be happy to supply beer and food. I unfortunately do not have a shop or Welder and I don't know if having a body shop do the work is in my restoration budget. Not o mention I'm a s***ty welder.

Any takers or advice?

What model truck are those for? I'm curious what you think of quality and fit of the Wolf panels. I've used CCOT for one quarter panel / wheel well / tailgate / rear sill on my 40, and it worked well. As long as you do your prep to keep things square, the welding doesn't have to be super pretty. It just means more grinding for us amateurs. My training was a couple youtube videos, a borrowed MIG welder, and lots of trial and error to get the power set and not blow through the panels. Also, working each section a little at a time, let it cool, and come back to it to add more metal. Or after you cut prep, maybe someone could get you started on the welding. All that said, you may have higher standards for finish quality than me. Take it for what it's worth. Others can give real welding advice. My advice is go for it.

My truck also needs body work, and I'm short on time/space for that type of project. Did you price out a body shop, or does anyone have experience with body work at any shops in the area? I'm guessing it's cost prohibitive, but curious.

Did this job end up getting done? No updates?
Looks like OP hasn't been on since early 2020 and wolf doesn't have any cruiser stuff on their site...

I've done a few sets of Wolf quarters back in the day. It's probably been at least a decade since I've done them, but they fit well when I did them. There was a weird flare at the bottom of the wheel arch but nothing a bit of dolly work wouldn't fix. If you were doing both sides no need to correct it since they matched :)

looks like i missed it
