This is new to me. I washed the Cruizer today and after I stopped for lunch and started it up the "R" light in the dash became perpetually illuminate regardless of which gear it is in. So if I have it in drive both the "D" and the "R" are illuminated. In Park, both the "P" and "R" are illuminated. At first the check engine light and the VSC TRAC and VSC Off lights were illuminated as well. I restarted the vehicle a few times and all 4 remained illuminated. When I got home I disconnected the battery for 15 min, reconnected and when I started it up only the check engine and the "R" in the dash instrument cluster were illuminated. I did a search but could not find anything like this...anyone have any ideas? Not sure if the car wash had anything to do with it, but I have it outside in the sun with the hood open to dry it out incase anything got wet in there....

Water is leaking from your windshield or sunroof into places it shouldn't. Happens to me after a rainstorm or a car wash if I don't keep my sunroof drains from clogging. Last time, my headlights stayed on and my fuel pump relay kept clicking non stop. Water is weird

I went to AutoZone and had them read the code: code p0705. One of the symptoms is moisture in the transmission controller. I cleared the code and all went back to normal. How do you check the sunroof drains to see if they are clogged?

Open the sunroof and you'll see two holes in the front two corners. Run a wire or trimmer line down them. And pour hot water down them to check if they are clear.
