Many of you knew my old husky, Naiya.

We had to put the old girl down today.

She would have been 15 1/2 tomorrow, she had a nice long life on the hill.

Naiya never really enjoyed riding in the truck, but she sure did visit every campsite when my friends would be camping!

She refused to come in the house for years, even her last nite she slept on the porch, -14, perfectly warm to the touch.

Naiya rarely started a fight, unless another dog was at her food. But she won them all.....

She was trampled by a mother moose nine years ago, her leg shattered. The vets patched her up well, she lost a toe and has metal screws in her.

The cats have been sleeping with her lately, leading her back to the porch if she strays, showing me where in the field she was hiding during lightening storms..

Everyone loved so much, you will be missed dearly, Naiya!

Sorry man she will be remembered

Sad news. I liked that husky. She seemed to me to be the protector of the property. Always sitting on the porch keeping a watchful eye on everything. She always visited my rig and said hi when I camped out.. I will miss her.

So sorry to hear man. Yaiya was a special friend and will surely be missed. Owww owwww owwww.... Forever. Big hugs to you all.
