The following is a list of what I need for my '67 FJ45LV. If you can provide what I need I may be able to provide what you need such as FJ45 LWB tailgates, headache bars, Toyota Stout parts and the like, even Nissan Patrol parts if you're so inclined! Before anyone asks, I'm NOT bringing a supply to sell as my BJ60 will only carry so much stuff back north, but IF you have what I need (or if you can pursuade your buddies to offer up parts) we can talk
.
Here in Guatemala the cars that originated here generally are pretty good for lack of rust since there is no need to salt roads. There is also a much higher concentration of 'Cruiser pickups and Toyota's in general as well as Nissan Patrols so I'm reasonably confident of finding at least some things at the wreckers.
I don't have a new date for a visit to the wreckers at this time but post up what you need AND what you'll provide in exchange so I can keep my eyes open. I'll be through the western states (El Paso Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona) this summer so the exchange shouldn't be too difficult if you're near my route.
- Vent window hardware (both sides) and passenger side vent window
- spare tire mount hardware
- speedo cable
- e-brake cable and ebrake hardware including backing plate (my backing plate is a little chewed up
- sway bar bushings
- rear seat support brackets (for when seat is up)
- transfer and tranny shift boots
- front fender lights
- ignition switch with keys
- turn signal switch
- hardware for front cowl vent (mine stops at the two threaded rods that attach to the damper so I need from there out to the damper
- adjustable front seat hardware (I think the seat is right but the PO tossed the adjusting harware and made up a pipe framework that doesn't adjust)
- seat belts (did the '67 even have them?)
- air filter housing and associated piping- front windsheild gasket (the stupid PO slit the gasket in half and siliconed the window in!! It was a good gasket too, not dried out or anything.)
- drivers side rear door latch (the one in the door).
- front passenger door rear glass bumpstop and mount (normally the mount is welded into the door by the way it looks on my truck).
- one inside door pull.
- fuel filler nozzle (not the rubber hose, just the metal part that takes the cap and the cap of course) for a locking door model filler door.
For those that don't have FJ45LV parts I also need all the parts to convert the drum front axle to disc. I think I can keep the housing and I just need the knuckles out + axles. I'll accept that as well 'cause I'm a nice guy
These items are offered by "Ground Up" in exchange for a tailgate: - speedo cable, sway bar bushings, front fender lights, seat belts, air filter housing and associated piping
