Hi guys, I've finally bought myself an 82' hj47 and Im in love. I do have an issue though and thought you guys might be able to help with suggestions.... As much as I love my landcruiser theres no getting around the fact that I am a big man, more than a little heftier than I should be. I must be honest, I feel really restricted between the original seats and wheel, virtually pinned in, even with the drivers seat slid back as far as it'll go. I'm looking for your suggestions, some of you must have opted for more space at some time!. First thiing I think of is replacing the wheel with one of lesser diamter, this should help. I also always envisioned replacing the front bench seats so maybe if I put two bucket seats up front I can ensure then that they go back a little farther than the stock bench. I've always wanted more comfortable individual front seats even if they are aftermarket... what do you guys think? Any recommendations or photos for me of this being done?
