Hi everyone, I was hoping someone may have done this before and would be able to give some advice.

One of my rear license plate screws on my 2004 470 just keeps spinning, the bracket or holder or whatever you would call it that's in the door broke free. I've seen other threads on here and club lexus and the facebook group mention this, but usually it's how to access that area of the rear door, I haven't seen anyone mention part numbers to replace the bracket/holder or how to secure it again. Does anyone that's had this problem know which part number I would need to look for, or how I can keep the bracket in place? I've tried looking at part number diagrams but I can't find the specific bracket/holder that I need.

Thanks for any help, I'm planning on taking some pictures to document this when I fix it for anyone that searches in the future.

Rivnut for a long lasting replacement. Check them out, this is what I'm planning to replace mine with when they need them.

Sounds crazy, but even in Colorado, I put anti-seize on my license plate screws. I have seen too many screws snap off in older Toyota license plate holders due to rust. You might consider this after your repair, especially if you use a metal insert like a riv-nut (which I think is a good idea).

And another great idea.
