Asking in case anyone has done this already - I was just going to refresh the Destaco clamps on my rear swing out. Rust and a damaged now. Looks like the DESTACO 341 would be the ONE for ONE replacement swap?

Also - for those more knowledgeable than me (this rig is new to me) any idea what this metal sculpture is for on the spare tire?

Looks like a hanger for a coil of something. air hose? recovery strap? chains maybe?
or just a hanger for things - for trail readiness and quick access
seems useful

Thanks Landlocked -- I agree it seems like it could be useful. Trying to justify it to my wife when currently it requires balancing the extra distance it extends out of the back if parking in the garage plus it takes a little more metal math on when I crawl out from under the car so I don't further mis-shape my head.

Guessing it has to detach to get the wheel off? Bit of an odd shape to stow until you need it, but I'd try to find a spot for it anyway.
