Greetings to all!

I wish to replace T-case R151F part time on H150F full time,
and now have next information:

-H150F 21 splins was established on HZJ8# during 1990-1997;
-full time transfer for H150F are HF2A and / or HF2AV;
-part time - HF1A.
Is it correct?

Whether replacement HF1A on HF2A or HF2AV is possible (number splins output shaft gearbox and input transfer, fastening ...)?

How to define type of the transfer case on a code on the car identification tablet?

Whether there is a marks or a brand on the body of the transfer?

I will be grateful for any information on this theme.

I think the HF1A is the case that goes behind the old 3FE engine, someone please chime in here..

HF2A is part time and HF2AV is the full time. Same bolt pattern.

Tapage, I'm sure you know this stuff off of the top of your head.

I can tell you that no one in the US has an R series transmission in their Land Cruiser unless they did some hefty work getting it there.

Thank you very mach!

Information about possibility rebilding HF2A to HF2AV is very important for me.
Now I can buy T-case H150F sekond hand and wiil search HF2AV for it.
It is necessary to find out original number HF2AV under the catalogue to order it.
R151F is an example of bad economy. R151F is easier and less than H150F, but is weaker for my hobby.

wow...

3rd post down....

A343F/A340F Solenoid questions - ToyotaDiesel.com

???

"You're right, the 4th solenoid of the A340H it's for the T-Case, the A343F has a shifter and also an electric motor so I doesn't need any solenoid for the T-Case.

I'm swapping my manual 3.0TD 4Runner to an auto but plan to put my current T-Case behind the R150F (Same as the V6) behind the A343F.

David"

I always liked that name...

You guys aren't saying the TC's are interchangeable, are you? And you'll have to use a centered rear diff, no?:confused:

Nor am I but if the two interchange, that means I can convert my Mini's to AWD...

I've already got an axle lined up that should work... An Fj40 rear...

That would be cool... Plus, I already have the AWD case. But I'd need proof it would work 1st...

Otherwise I'm going to put my efforts to trying another case. The NP242...

Unfortunately, the electronic translator does not understand, about what there is a speech, but all the same many thanks for comments.

I have already received the main information. There were small technical questions:
Whether probably to identify an unknown box only on appearance? Whether there are marks on boxes? What it and where is?
