I searched but no joy....
Has anyone replaced the factory/oem xm radio antenna? From what I can gather the xm radio is located under the seat in my 2006(plan to look tonight). Has anyone replaced the antenna with either another factory antenna or aftermarket?

I ask because I just added a Frontrunner rack and my xm radio performance is now suffering.

Last question. If I pull interior panels is there any slack that I might be able to gain an additional 4-5 inches in cable length so I can just relocate the antenna vs replacing it?

Thank you in advance.
Sean

Bump.

Bump. Still looking for guidance. Thx!

@SoCal_80 I am looking for the same advice. My frontRunner rack is wrecking the XM service as the antenna is mounted just in front of the rear window spoiler! I have read some place that guys are putting them up front just above the windshield, but i would just like to move it to the top of the rack. I am unsure of the wiring path at the moment, and where the antenna ends up. I saw you posted a questions about the location of the receiver in another thread. Where you able to locate it?
