If I've posted this in the wrong forum, moderator, feel free to move it and my apologies. I have cast aluminum patio furniture and the factory paint is flaking on high use areas, e.g., armrest and high back. I'm using a twisted wire cup attachment on my angle grinder to remove the flaking paint. It's easy and I'm going very light so as not to leave swirl marks in the aluminum. Most of the chairs are in good shape, so do I need to strip 100% before I prime and rattle can Rustoleum?
