My name is Josh Frick. Last year I renewed with someone (sec or treasurer?) over the phone and asked the woman on the phone to have my membership auto renewed. She mentioned I needed to sign a form and send it in, which I did, but my last TT I received had the infamous renew page glued to the cover. I'm confused. Is this a mistake? Who should I contact?
I love my cruisers, love the TLCA, fully support it and TT, but it seems real hard to renew. Everyone I talk to in the cruiser community seems to have the same problems. Is it possible to make this process any easier? Seems like membership numbers would be up if there was a simpler way to stay a member. Most people I encounter that are past members didn't intentionally decline membership, but rather encountered difficulty renewing and their membership just lapsed.
