Removing the mirror caps?

Hey guys,

Any direction on how to pop off the side view mirror caps?

Not sure what you are trying to do but outside on the folding arm there is a plastic cover on the bottom with the hinge.

If you gently pop the mirror glass off you can get access to courtesy light / turn signal (depends on year I think)

I need to replace the passenger side mirror cap and while I’m in there will also install some sequential led turn signals.

So I need to pop off both mirrror caps

I had to replace the light in the mirror cap. There are some youtube videos on removing it. Was not that bad.

Found a few, looks easy. Cliff notes, pop off the mirror glass, push in the plastic clips on the mirror cap while slowly pulling out on the mirror cap. They it'll pop off. Turn signals are held in with a few phillips head screws.
