Removing Rear Spoiler Updated Thread (1 Viewer)

I have a 2006 LC with a Gamaviti roof rack. With my new Trxstle fly rod carrier, as well as a new need to transport kayaks and paddleboards, I finally have to get rid of the whale tail.

I've spent the last two nights reading as many threads here as I could find. Side note: I'm terrible at the search functionality on this site.

I cannot find a good step by step guide or real solution to plugging the holes and replacing the brake light.

Does anyone have, or can anyone write up, a guide for this? I need to get out there!

if you want to sell that whale tail I will buy it from you.

that being said if you lift the hatch there should be some plugs that will expose the mounting bolts that secures the spoiler to the hatch

Yeah, the removal is simple. Making it clean after removal is my concern. Anyone have any pics of theirs post-removal?
