Removing Lexus emblem from tailgate? (1 Viewer)

Can I use a heat gun and remove the plastic "LEXUS LX450" emblem from my rear gate? If so, what would I find behind it - just painted steel?

Yes you can or blow drier also work and dont worry theres no hole behind 'em as the results, clean shaved

remoovin' that ugly-ass badge...

get some 20 lb test fishng line... work it behind the badge, like your flossing a big-ass tooth... work up & down till your done & pulling across between the gate & the badge... then you the heat gun/hairdryer to loosed up the remaining adhesive... wear some leather gloves, you can use some rubbing friction to gets off... the adhesive that is... this worked for me in like 30 mins or so... that includes waxing after, etc... good luck... you'll never want to do it again...

After you get them off, I think T Y L E R needs 'em for some extra mall cruisin bling......
