Yes...yes....and get aggressive BlueCruiser! Take Amando's design and try to improve upon it (which will be tough). Cut your F&R frames as much as possible in order to shorten that beast even more. Shorten that sucker like I did my 80 and LX. I want to do this to a 100 so badly.

If you'd a read the whole thread you'd a noticed a told Blue Cruiser to leave them on. My statement refers to the idea of making aggressive custom bumpers like Amandos.

I'm used to certain members selectively reading my posts.

Don't see where you said that.

I'm used to certain members making assinine comments and then trying to back them up with subjective photos that don't show a thing and circular logic that only makes sense to them, and then not even having the balls to admit that they were wrong. "No, I wasn't wrong, I just can't write well!" So go back to school if it's such a problem for you.

OK, off the soapbox... :flipoff2:

Don't need balls. To admit the N74L change was a mistake (or I was wrong)....I'd be lying. ;p

BlueCruiser will see Roklimo on the trail Saturday. He'll be able to tell what the difference is (if any :D ) then. ;p

You should come on out too and see in person! Perfect Sedona weather.

Pull them off

Pull them off, wheel, put back on. You'll learn how they go together. I didn't want to take off the rear hitch so I cut the two tabs that are mounted by 12m bolt. (you can loosesn enough to slide in and out) I ran Poisen Spider with both bumpers on. Scraped them both good, pulled the front license plate off. "dented" the rear one, poped it back out after the trail. I've since replaced front with Arb. I removed the rear for a trip 2 weeks ago (Chinamans gulch) My plan was really to remove the rear mud flaps. I just kept going. 15min later no rear bumper. I crunched my rear q and taillight. I would have been more damage if I left it on. just my .02

Ok, first I'll admit to being clueless. With that out of the way, My bumper cover is messed up bigtime and currently held on with duct tape...really! I've been hit twice in the right front over the years. The last time, I think the shop neglected to R&R the passanger side "horn" on the bumper. Took a couple of days before I noticed the tow hook was actually behind the bumper cover. I was in West Texas at the time and I also managed to pull the bumper cover off while backing out of a bad spot. Then, before getting back to the shop, some idiot backed into the truck while it was parked and OD'd that little center strip beneath the grill and lights. That may have also been the cause of the bent horn... I can't be certain. At any rate, the body shop estimate is right at 1K. With a T3 around 800.00 and the center strip a 150.00 part, it seems a no brainer to go that route rather than spend almost as much to go back to stock. So, does the T3 replace the bumper and wings under the stock tupperware cover or does it mount over those?
Thanks............

Those cheap stock bumper brackets all come off when you go aftermarket. All will be well and durable.

202K on your 100!? WOW! How does it run? Burn any oil? Has it been trouble?
It's a tank! Only failure was a fuel pump and the obligatory 1 electric window that doesn't work! It runs, well, not as strong as it once did but it is overdue for service. We'll see how the compression is, but I'm inclined to OME it, replace the front seats and go for another 100K or so.....maybe get on a Toyota commercial.....LOLOL........
