Remote start system recommendations (1 Viewer)

Hello all, I have a 2005 GX470 and just moved to Colorado. I’d like to install a remote start system so that I can prestart/heat the vehicle in the winter time Before use.

- Anyone have experience with brands or any type of remote start systems?
- Any cons involved?
- Does it make you lose your oem key fob?
- what brands would be recommended And why? (Compusta, Viper, mpc)

Not sure what mine is exactly, I’ll check tomorrow. Uses a secondary fob. Starts and unlocks. Love it. Was installed when I️ bought the truck.

So mine is a Clifford who knows how old it is. My fob looks nothing like any of their current fobs. Thing works flawlessly, I’ll try and find a model number.
