Hi,
My remote is not locking the drivers door and the horn does not sound because of this? It appears the inside button is sticking. This started after an interior detail. What can I check first?

It could be your actuator (sp?). My driver door went out and none of the doors would lock. I purchased a new one from my dealer and installed it myself. Problem solved.

What makes you think the inside button is sticking?

I agree it starting right after a detail I’d be looking elsewhere than the fob itself.

Not sure where else to look besides actuator.

Had this happen on the front passenger door. Actuator was bad and it was covered under warranty.

If it turns out to be the actuator you can actually replace the motor inside the actuator, it’s super easy. I recently had to replace an actuator motor and it took me all of about 30 minutes the first time I did it. Actuator motors are $20 for four on Amazon. I added a link to the ones I used and they are a direct replacement. If you need instructions on how to replace the motor there are several on mud.
