I normally only buy Toyota electrical stuff, due to reliability and fitment.....
So I boogered-up the starter on the vehicle and was forced to buy an Reman from Toyota. Sort of frustrating as I was in a big hurry for a trip and had the contact/plunger kit in hand.
So while bench testing my new starter, I popped open the solenoid cover.....
I can't seem to upload pics, but the contacts were replaced, but not the plunger, which had pitting and carbon......
