I'm not sure about other provinces, but at least in mine the rules officially say no to importing modified vehicles. I'm not sure if there are ways around that, but you might want to double check with any potential ebay buyers from BC lest you spoil your auction...

That's news to me. The '55 came from North Dakota and was not inspected until it had the 3B installed.

That's what it says in the not-too-fine print. Yeah same here with the 62. I've always been a little sketchy about that...
I think the reason you can get away with it is because the inspection shop doesn't care if it's modified, they just have a checklist to go over. I think if ICBC checked, we could be in trouble.

I'm kinda sketchy about posting the above even... when I imported the 62 I ended up with border agents scouring mud to try and prove I paid more than I said I did on the paperwork... (big trouble if they'd managed to)
