Hey team,

I'm pulling apart the intake on my '94 80 Series 1HD-T to clean it up and investigate the oil "spray" at the joints. As she has a few years on her, the rubber ends have lost their elasticity. Has anyone had luck rejuvenating those hoses a bit? Belt dressing, Armorall, etc.? Any other tricks I should consider to avoid replacing everything? Thanks.

I’m trying a trick a local aircraft mechanic told me:

He slathers those ribbed uni-belts in Formula 303 (aircraft type rubber dressing?):

- from what he’d heard it extends the service life from 60K change-out to well past 100K. I’ve got just over 60K on the Tundra/3UR so I’m doing a belt with the 303 stuff. At the rate I put miles on it, it’ll be a ~15yr belt.
