From the DNR news letter:
Reiter Foothills Recreation Plan Update
The citizen planning committee and DNR staff continue to work together on the Reiter Foothills Recreation Plan. The plan is a recreation management guide for the Reiter Foothills area, a 10,000-acre block of forested state trust land located north and east of Sultan and Index. The committee’s focus is on DNR’s recreation land suitability analysis, which identifies the environmental and management factors that influence planning for all types of recreation trails and other facilities.
