i have a corner of my kitchen counter top liftling about 120sq". my plan is to glue it back down, so that i can get another two years use out of it. when i embark on the kitchen remodel, i'll be changing over to coriean , so i'm just looking to eek out another few months. has anyone have a suggestion as to how to glue it back down? it's already at the point where i expect that someone will catch it and break it off, necessitating that i reface the whole thing.

Contact cement is what is used to adhere it in the first place, I'd go that route. You could use just about anything, from Elmer's rubber cement to DAP contact adhesive to 3M spray adhesive.
