1980 Jayco Popup FOR SALE. $1275. Atlanta, GA
11' box. Sleeps 6. 2 full beds and a dinette that converts to a bed. Lots of recent upgrades. Tongue professionally extended and decked with expanded steel to enable carrying gear on the front. New winch cables. Winch box fully welded (the factor spot welds can be iffy). New 5" Memory Foam mattresses. Frame sanded primed and painted. Body painted with enamel. Roof painted with elastomeric paint. New tail lights. New wiring harness. New roof vent . Window unit A/C in rear of the box, works very well. Water tank and sink are functional. Stove is there, but needs re-plumbed. 120v outlets all around. Smoke detector. Lots of storage. Swing down stabilizers on rear. 3 spare tires. The cabinets are original, but functional. Roof was rebuilt a few years ago - a problem on many popups. Everything is dry and the floor is solid. The canvas is old and has some patches. Some zippers don't work. I have seam sealed it and waterproofed it. I camped in it 10/5-8 and got poured on. NO leaks at all. If aesthetics don't bother you, then its got a few more years in it. This has been a great camper, but it is time to move on to someone else who can enjoy it. You can't find a cheap camper and build it for what I'm asking for this one.
Has towed great behind my 100-series. I never took it on more than gravel roads, so I never did an axle/tire swap.
