12V - external regulator type.

Rebuilt by a local electrical shop - they refurbished the exterior too so it looks nice

This is an early alternator. Should work on early HJ60 and HJ45/47. It wont work on a 12HT due to interference with the turbo inlet elbow but it should fit later 2H.

could be interested. looking trying to source a rebuild kit now and had a line on a new one from Oz but my contact went to the mines with the economy. You have or know how to get the regulator. would probably want to replace all while at it.

one of the wires from the regulator had burned out so I figured I would just replace. To be honest, if I remember correctly (it has been a while since I've looked at it), I think the burned wire is ahead of the termination so it might be a lost cause tracking it down. Really the only problems I'm having is in charging so not sure its a regulator issue. good to know on their heartiness.

Give me a day or so. I'm checking with a friend in Australia to see how much he can get a new denso replacement before I pull the trigger but if that doesn't work out I will purchase for sure. If I do I might need you to take a few pics of the mounting points to make sure this will fit. Pretty sure it will though. What type of cruiser did you pull it out of?

Zero worries, I certainly wasn't expecting you to hold it for me. Cash in hand! I would have done the same thing. I'm so freakin out of my mind busy at the moment kind of the last thing on my mind but I appreciate you thinking about me.
