Hello All, I've got a solid motor for your winter project plans!

This 1HZ with Turbo came in running condition out of a friend's Bandeirante full resto project and appears to have received a refresh from a well-known LC builder shop in in TX (he is going big.. LS3 ) I have been told it is a later version motor with altitude compensation module integrated on the fuel pump. It has been checked out by Big Thompson Diesel in Loveland, CO including oil analysis and zero issues found. They said that it looks great and to 'just run it!' This is currently set up as 12volt.

Motor includes starter, alternator, fan/shroud, and 3" stainless exhaust. And a box of assorted/spare install parts.

I also have the 5 speed manual transmission w/transfer case and bell housing (pictured) Selling separately.

I am selling as I will go a different way with my plans for adding power to my '91 Troopy. Currently running the original 3FPetrol, not a thing wrong with it. Just need more power when loaded. Or maybe just continue to enjoy tractor-speed climbs up I-70. 'Hey, look at all those flowers! Can't see those at 75mph!'

Motor is located in Loveland near Colorado Toyota Repair and viewable upon request (Indoors, climate controlled). Contact me here or via the # in first photo. Asking $5k, Buyer pays shipping.

Did they do a compression test ?
Hello and thanks for your question. Based on their inspection of the motor, all evidence of the refresh (new parts used etc.) oil compression and crankase oil analysis results, and finally the run test, they determined there was no need to. Ran strong and smooth. I've priced it with all the above in mind.

Are you in the market for this motor? And if so, and it had a solid comp test, would you then buy it?

Good day, I have an LS2 that I was thinking of putting into my LC, it has all the computer parts, MAF and pedal plus I have an updated stand alone module for it. Any interest in a trade. This engine passed all its tests and is out of a corvette.

I appreciate the offer and that sounds like a great package but I am going a different route with my Troopy. All the best with your project!
