I don’t know if you’ve decided on a mounting location, but I put mine on top of the engine bay fuse box. I was initially concerned about heat, but so far, max temp has been 120 (my sPod Bantam is mounted just aft and it provide a temperature readout).Todd from RedArc responded yesterday afternoon that the ‘17 LX 570 DOES have a temp compensating alternator And does not need the ignition trigger for a bcdc 1225.
I actually use mine to charge the batts in my BRX Teardrop. Want it closest to the battery being charged so I mounted it in the trailer.I don’t know if you’ve decided on a mounting location, but I put mine on top of the engine bay fuse box.
