Thanks Justin at Redline, cant wait to get my hands on the new housings and hid bulbs for my pig! Would have love to chat more with you but i was in the middle of work. Next time hopefully.

just curious here, I have been reading a lot on these type of LED bulbs and have seen some with a LifeTime Warranty. Do these have a LifeTime Warranty on the bulbs..?? Also, does the Redline H4 build housing actually have that center chrome hood that is pictured in the housing...?? Does this LED's build work with that type of setup inside the housing..?? I was also wondering if you have any photos of these lights on in the housing depicting the beam pattern, distance and brightness at night etc...??

Thanks in advance, I am in the market currently for a brighter set of bulbs for my recent purchase, FJ40 and it seems like LED's are the definite way to go.. I just am not sure if I want to go the whole bulb / housing in one direction like the Trucklite's / JW Speakers or this route. I am leaning towards this option due to the ability to replace the bulb if it goes out and the expense for these being less as opposed to the housing / bulb in one kind of thing.

Thank you,

Darius

DTSkyCop, The VisionX bulbs do come with the reflector housing. I just installed these last night and it SUPER easy. I dont really have a picture that depicts the beam pattern well, however i have some pictures of the light output difference.

VisionX + HID on the left, Halogen Sylvania Performance bulb on the right

<a href="http://s35.photobucket.com/user/driftking777/media/20140320_205952_zpszjbth8ny.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d190/driftking777/20140320_205952_zpszjbth8ny.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo 20140320_205952_zpszjbth8ny.jpg"/></a>

Halogen Dims (was brighter with the naked eye, pile of rocks is about 50 yards away)

Brights (again it was brighter with the naked eye, but my beams must be pointing a touch high since the lift was done)

VisionX + HID, same headlight adjustment. DIMS

Brights! (trailer is roughly 75 - 100 yards away)

Hope this helps!

Nick, Thanks for the fantastic light comparison! Red Line is now stocking the up on the LED's for the 80 series as well. Just the LED's for right now! 9004,5,6!

Cannot see the comparison here at work. I will look this evening to see. Work computers will not allow me to open the links you have above... bummer. Thanks for the comparison though... I wasn't sure how it would work with the reflector etc.

Just saw these lights and the pics you put up... Very nice... I "think" I actually can "see" a difference in from the halogens to the hids... lol. I was looking at the LED bulbs though... These are not the same thing, right..??? I like the hids though... I will have to look at that option as well now... :)

The beam pattern would be the same between the h4 bulb and the hid. You would obviously get less light from the h4 bulb but it would still be a huge improvement over the standard halogens

“Back from the grave” - bump.

Are you a Vision X dealer?

I’m going to be in the market for 2pr of their 3.7 / 4.5 dia round lights for a bumper being powdercoated ATM.
