Red hazard switch part number (1 Viewer)

These all-red switches seem to be right next to unobtainium in the table of LC elements. Even Beno can't come up with a part number for them because they aren't in the US parts system. They do exist, it's just that nobody seems to know what they originally came in or what the actual part numbers are.

That's a bit frustrating...:bang:

@Akella any chance you could help?

yes if its possible, please and thanks

Well, I MAY have found the switch numbers. I found several pictures of 94-02 Toyota Hiace vans with red hazard switches, and the part number for those switches is 84332-26060, which was replaced by the 84332-26080 switch in 2002. No idea if that is a red switch also or what. The connector plug looks the same, but I haven't actually tried one. There are several sources for these switches new(at about $45 each) but I can't find them used for a reasonable price anywhere. Right now I can't afford to experiment with a fifty dollar switch that may or may not work, but maybe someone else could and let us know?

Don't know where else to go from here except to say that if any of the guys living overseas want to make a few bucks they could go pull some of these red switches and sell them right here. Bet you could move a bunch at $20 plus shipping, at least ten or twenty of 'em anyway.

Hope this helps.

Here's the 060 switch-

A little Googling leads me to think the first part number is correctly
84332-26060, not 84332-206060

fyi...

You are correct sir, it is now fixed.

Sorry for the typo!

So far i cant find a pic of the 26080 switch
I have a chance to order one but before i do i would like to verify it is indeed a red buttoned switch after the substition from the 26060 p/n
Anyone have any clue if the subbed p/n is still a red buttoned switch ?

Thanks

Doug

I worked harder and found a pic labeled 84332-26080 and it has the red button so ima gonna go for it, we will see in 3 weeks [coming from japan]

Ordered this nov 6, got it in 13 days all the way from japan.

Bout to put a paypal hammer down on their asses.

So.....what special/different about this switch other than color?

I thought the red button blinks when activated!!:D I can get this if anyone want one.
