Does anyone know anything about a new private off road park in Woodbridge called Red Cloud?

A neighbor of mine said he was down there last week with the NoVA Jeepers. All I can find online is a few cryptic references on a Jeep forum and what appears to be a website placeholder. Anybody got any intel?

I have heard nothing, but I haven't been too observant--been distracted with home fix-it stuff.

Is that the same guys that own "Diego's deals?"
For a while now I've heard about a private property that jeepers wheel. Supposedly that one belongs to some disabled vets.

I think that might be the same place. I called and spoke with a guy named Jim. He owns a tactical shop nearby that they use as a base of operations. Check in there, complete the waivers, etc.

It's not open to the public. During the week, they conduct training courses for government, and they open it up Friday thru Sunday for prearranged trips by area offroad clubs. They charge $25 plus a $5 water fee (they ask that you rinse your undercarriage before returning to the public road).

The sense I got from him was that it's probably on the mild side where a stock truck might need to get yanked out of a ditch if the driver was trying hard enough. Maybe equivalent to greens and mild blues at Rausch. Sounds good for a low-key run/famiy outing. At 8 miles south of Springfield, I'm interested just for the chance to get out on a trail just 25 minutes away.

Jim offered to meet me and one or two other guys from the club down there for a dry run. If it looks like a decent number of folks are interested, it might be a good idea for a small group to check it out first.

Anyone interested?
