Saw this truck twice on Saturday, first at Trinity UMC and then at the park. Anyone's on here? It looks almost identical to my first truck that I sold in '94. I would love to talk to the owner and see if he knows the history on it.

I'd bet money that's the 40 i saw over a year ago at the baseball park beside Spain Park one Saturday. i was running a 5K in the park so I could take a pic but I was close enough to admire the hell out of this 40, i think I posted up here asking if it was someone here and no one claimed it.

black grille, besttop top and besttop fenders irocks and perfect paint/body...

i bet he thought it was a jeep.

If it is my old truck I put all of that stuff on there when you were getting ready to go to kindergarten, back before everyone was a purist. The truck is awesome in person - iroks, hydro assist...

Beats the s*** out of my 40 wasn't trying to step on any toes... But nothing about that cruiser looks like it is from the 90s... Did they even make iroks back then?? I thought all they had was the swampers and tsl. My besttop was a week old when I got my 40 within a month it was ragged and I didn't even abuse it. It was just a crappy product.

From my iPhone.

no toes stepped on, funny to think about trying to build restore one of these before the internet. I had an SOR catalog and knew one other person that had one. No idea on the iroks in the 90's - I had 235 buckshots(not maxxis, the real deal) and then stepped up to 31" sport kings because the buckshots were so loud. 31's were big back in 93. Bumper is different, I had a stock bumper with a custom bend on the pass side(thanks werd), SOR grill guard, and an 8274. the truck had flares on it when I bought it and I broke one and replaced with whatever SOR sold at the time.

That truck I think is beautiful. Honestly, it's exactly what I'd want my 40 to look like and I'd DD the hell out of it, take it to events, and "lightly" wheel it.
I'd take those nerf bars off and make some simple sliders and those s***ty Warn hubs and put aisins on...
