I don't live in Colorado, so going to Slee is out the question. I'm wondering if anyone has ever taken there truck into one of those national mechanics places? Like Midas or whatever. And have you taken them in all mudded out? Skids, lift and whatnot. I am a loss as to what is causing my squeaks and creaks and now pops somewhere under my truck. I don't have a problem fixing whatever is wrong, just a problem figuring out what is making all the noise. Anyone know if Midas can diagnose this stuff and let me walk out the door? There are a couple local 4x4 shops, but I haven't asked them if they can or will troubleshoot stuff and nobody around who specializes in Toyotas.

There is a local dealer, but would they just troubleshoot? I for sure don't want to pay dealer prices to get whatever is messed up fixed!

You can pay the dealer/shop to diagnose and not have a repair done. Normally they ask for an hour or two upfront and then come back with a quote and you can fix it or not. Call them up and see what their hourly rate for diag is.

It sounds like you will have to pay someone to figure out the issue. In my opinion, it may be more worthwhile to pay someone with Toyota experience v Midas. (Midas will never touch my cars, I don't even like driving by there)

Sounds like you are near a Midas and that's what would be convenient for you. I personally would much rather take it to a Toyota dealership and pay the $100 ish investigation fee they charge than trust it with Midas.

Aaron, I have always had good experiences with NWA Toyota in Rogers. They see a few modded 100s on regular basis. Mixed feelings about the dealer in Fayetteville. I know nothing about the Fort Smith dealership. I PMed you with another option.
