My 2005 Toyota Sequoia has 185,386 miles and will be needing the timing belt changed in the next five to ten thousand miles.
The timing belt was last changed in 2014 at 99,950 miles.

I plan to have Toyota change the belts, hoses, water pump, thermostat, timing belt, coolant.

Is there anything else that is recommended to change or service when the timing belt is replaced?

Should the radiator be replaced?

How do I know if the engine needs to be rebuilt?

Idler pully (forgot if it's included).

Heater T fitting on the firewall.

Pvc valve on driver side of engine.

These are just small ticket items for that extra peace of mind.

You can do these individually with Clamps to close off the circulation of coolant.

Thermostat , coolant main hoses. Heater lines should be fine. The radiator is a smart move. And they are not that expensive.

90 k miles is the normal recommended time. If your planning on keeping the truck a long long time i might have it done at 100 k miles knowing it will get you another 100 k miles after its done... that might be pushing it but i doubt 100 k would ever have an issue... just an idea .
