looking for a place possibly in hendersonville or near table rock/cesars head to take the children for a bike ride. Got a 9 yr old and a 2yr old so i can't really hike unless i plan on carrying the little guy...that gets old after 100yds.

was thinking the horse pasture but want to avoid people hunting if possible and not sure if the terrain is good for a bike with a toddler trailer but would be fine for the cruiser

thanks in advance

go gamecocks

If you're willing to go as far as H'ville, just keep coming over to A'ville to Bent Creek and do the Bent Creek Road through the Arb and national forest. Very flat FS trail going out and back to Lake Powatan, about 6 miles round trip.

thanks, will probably do that. should have done it last weekend since all the leaves are gone...thanks for the recomendation

Check with Clemson, I know they have a bike club and ride around there regularly

If you read the football thread you will know that i participate in nothing that has anything to do with Clemson! lol

ended up at table rock state park since one of the children was sick the night before and didn't want to drive all the way to ashville to have her give out after 10 min.

No places to ride a bike in the park but still had fun.

we took the swamp rabbit trail (most of it anyway) a few weeks ago.

I will check out pairs mtn...i pretty much drive by paris mtn twice a day on my work commute so i guess that's one i've really overlooked.
