Well, if you're already desmogged, then the job is a piece of cake like John said. Putting all the smog equipment back on is the challenge. I'll PM you my phone number if you have any questions.
Well the disassembly went good only broke 2 -14mm bolts when splitting the manifolds. The 2 gaskets sandwich some sort of deflector plate which is NFG. Is this defelector plate needed and where might I find one? Carquest has no listing for this part. What is the best way to clean the intake manifold?
Thanks
John
John do you really want me to post a few pics of the welds you did on my cage? There's more boogers on there than my grandsons nose.
I'd love to wheel a bit more than I have Dan. I just keep blowin' up my junk and don't have enough time nor funds to fix it. So I take it you finally got off your keester and installed that rear locker? Hopefully you won't embarrass yourself at TFT this year like you did last year without it. Although it was rather fun watching watching you try and climb that hill and finally making it on your 6th attempt. I think I did it on my first attempt with a wagon load of people in there too.
Really funny, you didnt have any problems with it when you loaded it on the trailer and got a full custom cage for $230!!!!!!!! But hey bring it by and fix these "booger welds" Perhaps some of the welds would have been cleaner if you knew s*** about numbers. When I say I need 1 3/4" tube and you bring me 1 5/8" and im set up to notch and bend 1 3/4....not that you would understand....but that causes some fitment problems.
Complete custom cage for $230, and complaints??? If I throw a dog a bone I dont want to hear if it tastes good.
