Well the disassembly went good only broke 2 -14mm bolts when splitting the manifolds. The 2 gaskets sandwich some sort of deflector plate which is NFG. Is this defelector plate needed and where might I find one? Carquest has no listing for this part. What is the best way to clean the intake manifold?
Thanks
John

4 Runner guys don't know crap about real cruisers. Let them stick to their 4 bangers and IFS. :flipoff2:

I, a 4runner guy, has owned cruiser's much longer than you......hmmm that must suck. Oh and a fj cruiser aint a cruiser. :flipoff2:

Ginger's WIFE has owned A cruiser longer than Phil, and both of you drive 62s which hardly qualify.

You are right that a FJC isn't a cruiser. It's a 2 door 4th gen 4Skinner.

all that being said -- Ginger bends a mean tube which slightly trumps Phil's ability to buy a mean beer. But just by a little.

Or Phils ability to keep HIS Land cruisers running.....oh wait....nevermind....carry on.

Traitorous bastids!

Ginger can only bend pipe. He certainly can't weld for s***. Even Oldnslo says so!

Traitor? When did we swear allegiance to you, patawon learner?

Pipe is for poop.

Flux core bitches...

John do you really want me to post a few pics of the welds you did on my cage? There's more boogers on there than my grandsons nose. :flipoff2:

I'd love to wheel a bit more than I have Dan. I just keep blowin' up my junk and don't have enough time nor funds to fix it. So I take it you finally got off your keester and installed that rear locker? Hopefully you won't embarrass yourself at TFT this year like you did last year without it. Although it was rather fun watching watching you try and climb that hill and finally making it on your 6th attempt. I think I did it on my first attempt with a wagon load of people in there too. :flipoff2:

Really funny, you didnt have any problems with it when you loaded it on the trailer and got a full custom cage for $230!!!!!!!! But hey bring it by and fix these "booger welds" Perhaps some of the welds would have been cleaner if you knew s*** about numbers. When I say I need 1 3/4" tube and you bring me 1 5/8" and im set up to notch and bend 1 3/4....not that you would understand....but that causes some fitment problems.

Complete custom cage for $230, and complaints??? If I throw a dog a bone I dont want to hear if it tastes good.
