There is an exposed torx screw on the mirror assembly. Remove it and slide the mirror off. Another internal torx will be revealed. That is likely your culprit. Tighten it and re-attach the mirror.

Mine was loose at the ball swivel joint. I tried everything but replacement was the only solution in my case. If I recall it was an $80 or so dollar part.

Would really like to replace the factory mirror with one that has a compass. I wonder what would be a good replacement? Mine is a constant problem and doesn't take much to move it out of place.

Mine is loose at the ball joint AND at the screws... It shakes a ton with the subwoofer in the back. I'm probably going to go get some loctite for the internal screws cause I've gone in there before to tighten them. It was a very temporary fix.

Mine was loose too. Screw was stripped. Dad works at a machine shop and made me a new one :) #perks. I also would love an auto-dimming rear view mirror. Are there existing connections for them in the ceiling? I know some of the cruises came with them. Why some of them didn't is beyond me. This was an expensive truck.
