I have a leak when activating the rear window washer,, at the top drivers side corner,,, since that is side with the bag & pump,, I was thinking that would be the route the tube would take but was surprised to find that it goes across into top hatch door on opposite,, passenger side,, looks like it is taped at that corner,, my question is if that tape is unwrapped,, is it possible to use old tube to pull a new one,, or it it taped or clamped some where else along the way? Any help or advice is greatly appreciated
Thks

This is the best explanation that I could find. I'm planning to replace the whole hose at some point using this method. Sounds like it will require some patience.

Thank you!
may try to put a fishing line through tube before I pull

I've had mine off a few times. To take off the rear hatch you have to pull out the hose. If you can see spot that leaks you can cut it at the leak, put in a two way barbed splice. not as flexible though, and my guess is your leak is somewhere being flexed.

When you pull the hose thru toss a string on the end, or fishing line like said above. Then you can use than to pull the new hose in. There may be clamps at the bottom you can pry open in side the hatch, but I don't think there is anything from the top to the bottom that holds it. You can push the hose down inside. I actually have been debating removing my rear wiper and washer. I really don't find rear wiper and washers all that useful.

It runs across the rear as you’ve noted. If you take the rear dome light out and feel around, you should be able to spot the tubing.

I just pulled mine out, and pushed the new tube in. It followed its way around easily. If you want, tape a string to it before you pull it out. A fishing line is too small, will get caught wedged in the corners

Weed whacker cord might be a good option

I seem to recall taping the new hose to the old hose with electrical tape. It pulled through quite nicely.

old hose was pretty much taped on all ends, deeper than i could get off,, no way to pull through.
I ended up using a length of 1/16" dia brass rod I had. pulled grommet that goes into body from top hatch passenger side, I made a bent closed end on rod & a little bit of a curve that I envisioned could help & pushed towards other side, with a little finagling got it through,, took the outside vent & duct off to find. The first time i tried to pull new tube it got snagged & lost it, the 2nd time of getting brass rod through was ez & ez pull of new tube, I cut out some of the old tube out of the gasket from body to hatch & fed new tube through gasket & down hatch,
all worked out pretty well,, did not mess with headliner
I had a 10' hose & it was just enough!, I may add some more hose in bag compartment to see if it cuts down the pressure a little,, the squirt is super strong a hits right where the glass meets frame at top of hatch, will look to adjust to center,, but still needs toning down, I would guess the old one was 11-12' long
thks all for the tips
