Rear tire carrier retrofit

I've been wanting to add a rear tire carrier to my rig for a while. I really like the clean install on this thread

I'd like to buy a spindle and latch and do some minor modifications to an existing tire carrier to make it work on an 80 rather than fabricating the whole thing from scratch. I was wondering if anyone knows of a tire carrier thats easy to find that you could retrofit to work on the 80. I've found quite a few H2 tire carriers on craigslist as well jeep wrangler.

There's a factory (hdj81) rear swingout tire carrier for sale on kijiji calgary ($200) at the moment, but you would need to reinforce the rear quarter, and maybe get a different tailgate possibly.

Otherwise I think someone was selling those a while ago. Check the vendor section maybe.
