I made my drawers with camping in mind. Just a simple drawer setup with a small drawer for recoveries which you can open with only the left wagon door open and a larger drawer for camping. 2 side storage spaces for other crap but i did plan to put in a water tank in one side with a gravity fed tap (i might get round to it one day) I also planned to mount some of my other fixed accesories in the side bits (like compressor, 24-12volt convertor) which means they are nice and high up for water crossings... unfortunatly i only had this wonderful idea after a water crossing:( I also made a fold up table for help when cooking

Anyway here are some pics

I would install one of the Flexitanks in the rear and buy one of the gas powered hot water systems at the camping stores.
Flexitank | Pillow Tanks | ContainerPac | 4WD & SUV Vehicle Flexitanks | Inflatable Marker Buoys | Flotation Devices
Or just strap some jerry cans in the back.
If you want to install a permanent alloy or plastic tank, there is a position just forward of the rear axle, between the chassis rails
Most of the 4wd shops sell a range of plastic tanks in various shapes and sizes.

A friend of mine uses hoses from the coolant system in his troopy to heat water in an alloy tank while he is driving.
At the end of the day there is always hot water for a shower and the radiator never overheats;)
