Getting new tires on the Land Cruiser today. Was checking brake pads and reached in to make sure the springs were seated properly. Springs were hanging completely loose. I have Slee heavy springs with ICON stage 3 longer travel shocks. That got me thinking about the suspension articulating when offroad. Any thoughts on whether I should be concerned with the springs slipping out of place when the rear suspension fully articulates? Should I switch to 863s to avoid a problem?

Thanks

Bloomer...... you can easily make a spring retention system to keep the spring captive. There is a hole in the bottom spring perch. A piece of steel slightly bent with a hole drilled through the center, bolted in place will keep it secure forever. That's what I use. You can weld a small retainer right on the perch as well.

Here is a photo from when I was building mine. @bluecruiser was the original designer of this method when we were running the L shocks. I have the super XL ICON's and still use this same system.
