Got a lift (3") not long ago, and need new rear shocks. This is my DD, and light wheeling (just enough to get me to fish'in and hunt'in spots). The lift came w/3" blocks in the rear, which is OK, but now rear suspension is stiffer than, well. The front with the lift feels like stock. The details--- just bought a trailer (RV), and want a set of shocks that will deal w/towing, and lift, but not make me wear a kidney belt. As for wheel'in, would like enough travel (articulation/wheel sag), that will not cause any problems. Don't know if I'm asking too much?
Have looked at several shops, and am confused with the selection, and do not know what to buy. Just want enough for/to compensate for the lift, smooth out the ride, and maybe help with the towing.
Oh yea---07' Tacoma 4X4 Dbbl Cab with shorty bed.

Not sure about the '07s, but I run T-100 shocks on my '99. They're harder to get on there, but the length is just right for a 2-3" lift an much cheaper than purpose built Tacoma extended length shocks.

X3 on the Bilstein 5100 series.

blocks shouldn't stiffen the rear too much, 5100s are good chit, HDs too.

what kind of lift is up front? same ol' story: make sure you do a dif drop, CV boot mod and alignment or your s*** will get fxxxed up.

fsusteve, thanks for the web link
i will consider these for my truck, but what are other options?
the bilsteins are stock on this truck, and i like that idea.
- thanks, Jim
