hello has anyone ever taken these apart???? I was doing a little mod to put in a power supply here with an inverter but it seems there may not be enough room. Has anyone ever dis assembled this area or has a parts diagram of this section to see if these items can be removed and ifso how much space is available. thanks

that second pic is actually once the door/cup holder thing is taken off. thats what it looks like inside.

not sure if all those things are part of the radio. thanks again for any help

In my lx I lack the radio controls, just have a cover. When I took it off I felt there was considerable room to install an inverter. I haven't got around to doing anything with it yet. I can take some pics tomorrow of what the space looks like.
What inverter are you looking at and what power source will you tap into?

hello would love any type of pics or help with this; I don't want to rip stuff out if in the end result there is no room. The invert i was gonna use is a power bright pw1100 watt. my original idea was just to replace the cup holder section and make something there. but now I'm looking at putting the the outlet things in the radio section.

I've got mine pulled off right now. PM me with your email and I'll send you some pics of the space thats back there

I think I sent the pm thing (to fastback) but not sure. No offense but why can't ou just post it here?

Hey, I needed your email address. If I posted on here. I'd have to take pic, load on computer, and then load on here. If I had your email I can just shoot it over to you straight from my phone. Just trying to save some steps. If needed I can load it on here.

oy vay!!!!! thanks so much all I have to do now is put the door back on!!! Not even gonna mess with that; that is not enough room for the converter. If I have time I may tinker and run the outlets there but that is a long time project for later. I must say thank you again you saved me and good afternoon taking this apart. Sorry for the PM thing I'm nt that good with it.
