I'm getting to replace the quarters on my 1971. I'll probably have some bracing welded on my tub tomorrow sometime. I was looking at the quarters on CCOT and it states that the older models ('72 and older) have no gas tank cut out or marker light cut outs.

Reckon I need a schooling on this quarter issue before I place an order. I'd rather have quarters with marker and gas tank filler cut-outs. So is there any major difference from a 71 compared quarters on model like a 75?

You'll have to use your existing filler housing and cut a hole in the replacement quarter and weld the filler housing onto it. At least I had to do this on the replacement quarters I got from RealSteel. Pretty sure it's the same for CCOT's panels as well. I believe they all have the cutout for the later model gas tank filler openings.
