I got the 74 home to find out the rear output shat seal is leaking badly I got the seal today. I'm hoping to get it in today as well but I'm not the mechanic I wish I was anyone have any words of advice or free time to come watch me make a mess?

Yes and no I guess! I did finally get the brake drum off after having to take Apart the brake itself to get to the the two bolts they hide behind so I now have springs and clips and all kinds of stuff to try and get back in assuming I future out how to get the old seal out ( not done ) and then get the new one in that looks nothing like the old but is hopefully the same ID. I am going back at it today and would like to think that I can get it back together without calling in the mechanic but we shall see..

PS. It's Avery good thing I have not tried to make a living as a mechanic! Much respect to those who talented in this field. It has been my experience that turrets syndrome and auto repair go hand in hand !!!!!

At the end of the day, its all just nuts a bolts. Do you have a manual you can go off of? factory service manuals will save your ass.
I'm around today. We just have to go do our weekly shopping.
Fortunately, its not something you have to get up and running TODAY to get to work.
The more of this stuff you learn for yourself, the more money you will SAVE and the more you will know HOW TO TAKE CARE OF when s*** happens of the trail.

I am going to wait for it to warm up a little and then go out with some new focus I spent most of yesterday laying on the garage floor with my iPad for directions and wishing I had better tools lol!

Ordered another output shaft seal I am going to give it another try it should go much easier the second time around I assume but if anyone wants to come give some pointers and listen to me curse like a sailor I will be under the 74 next week!
