Rear Mount Ceiling Speakers in a 60?

not ceiling, but po mounted sonme speakers on the rear pillars.

Someone took home wall speaker mounts and drilled into the ceiling on either side of the light on top of the tailgate. Looks like a good idea,,,,but they kept the speakers and left me with the brackets......welll only need the speakers now, but saves me running the wire and drilling anymore holes...

They did...high roof 60's have 'em in the ceiling.

reg sixties or at least mine dont have anything behind the front seat

I'll take some pics of my speakers in the 61. I made new boxes to hold bigger speakers but they are in the factory locations on the high roof.
