How about a OEM cable locker? Not cheap though as you'll need a rear FF too.

what about lock right>>????

have heard real good things about the Power Trax, but they are not real cheap. Aussie locker is prolly the cheapest option.

I'm working the bugs out of installing a modified 12 bolt mini spool. Can let you know how it works out next week if you like.

Put an aussie in or weld it. Either way is cheap and effective. As for lower gears, try to find a set of diffs from an FJ62, that will get you closer. Otherwise you gotta pay, or try to install a new gear set yourself.

Since you are in the south and do not have to worry about ice/snow I would be more inclined to weld it.

I have installed ARB air lockers in four different vehicles.

If your 60 is a daily driver, or if you drive is A LOT on the street stay away from a auto (read detroit, lock rite, etc etc) locker. Forget about welding it too. Those things are dangerous in the snow, ice, and to some degree the rain. If we are talking about a trail rig then fine.

Go either with an ARB, or the factory cable, or possibly one of the new electric lockers.

I know all of these are more expensive than a lock rite, but they are safer and easier on your tires and running gear too.
