Hi everyone! Long-time lurker here, but this is my first post. I did some searching and found plenty of threads about converting open differentials to lockers, but not much on doing the opposite.
I have a '96 LX450 with a lunchbox locker in the rear installed by the previous owner. Occasionally, when reversing out of a parking spot and shifting into Drive, there’s a loud bang that jolts the rear end. Since I daily drive my 80 and only take it on occasional road trips or camping, I don’t think a rear locker is necessary for my needs.
My question is: what parts should I gather before opening up the rear diff to remove the locker?
Is this sufficient to convert back to rear diff?

Per tradition, here is a pic of my 80. Cheers!
