Rear locker question

Hi guys! I'm the new owner of a 98 100 with a rear locker. Is there any way to modify the switch the allow the locker to be used in hi range? If it's already been covered, I apologize, please post a link. Thanks for the input!!!

Do you have the CDL switch in the dash? I don't have an early 100 but in my 80 I am pretty sure locking the CDL in high allowed you to lock the axle(s). The pin 7 mod disabled automatically locking the CDL in low.

It does have a CDL switch for the case. I'd like the ability to engage the reaer diff lock without it being in low range. Unless it could cause issues.

It shouldn't cause any issues, I guess it's only available in low range as a safety precaution.
